Garrett's Called to Jamaica & I'm Off to Windsor.

Transfers tomorrow.
First of all, Garrett (my brother) gets to go to Jamaica for his mission? That's cool. That just shows God likes him better than me, but then again, we already knew that. Congrats kid. (Legit congrats, not sarcasm, just in case)
So Welland is being whitewashed (I have no clue where that word came from). Not very surprising, but quite upsetting. Some members we told started crying because they liked Elder Bindrup and me so much. We're pretty upset too. Bindrup is heading to Stayner in the Barry Zone, and I'm headed to Windsor. Apparently, I get to serve with the Zone Leader. It's unclear if I'm a ZL too. Guess I'm stepping up in the world, or at least this mission. This also means that our new family we have been teaching will be getting two new missionaries. When Ben (the 9-year old) heard that we were leaving, he just started bawling. I'm going to miss this place and Elder Bindrup. The only upside is that in Windsor, I get to live in a Penthouse! Awesome! Now I just need my Audi R8. I think my Dad will supply that.
So in other news... Nothing much happened. It's been warming up here a bit, so now it's basically Waterworld here (which was awful by the way). What else? I heard the Oscars weren't that great this year. Anne Hathaway hosting?! Come on! We can do so much better, like Robert Downey Jr.!
Anyways,, not much else to say on my week. It's been slow and today I get to pack a lot of stuff. Fun. So this is going to be short. Peace out!

We Have a Family of Investigators!! :)

So everyone, how's tricks?
This week has been pretty good. The weather here has been heating up lately, so walking outside isn't a drag anymore. It's been pretty wet with all of the snow melting, but at least it's warm.
Besides the weather, not much has been going on. Ann and her family came to church yesterday and they quite enjoyed it. Things are looking good for this family. I think I mentioned the mom and her three kids are coming to church. Her husband isn't very interested right now, but he says he'll be looking into it later. He isn't the biggest religious guy right now because some things apparently happened in his last church, so he's currently not a fan of religion. We'll see how it goes later.
Other than that, it's been a quiet week. We had interviews with President and a district meeting. I still can't hear out of my left ear. Elder Bindrup locked us out of our house and car (we got back in after tearing a screen off a window). I had to deal with primary yesterday (the older kids). I'm never going into primary. Ever.
Anyways, I don't have very much time this week, so I'll leave it at that. Hope you all have a great week!

Happy Valentine's Day To You And Our Two New Investigators

Happy Valentines Day!
So how is everyone's week going? Everyone have a Valentine for today? That's good. Elder Bindrup and I have a new investigator. That's great. Her name is Ann, and she's a member of the Community of Christ (A break off of the LDS church). Her son Ben broke his collarbone last week and wanted a blessing for it, but their church said they can't do blessings. He's been reading about our church online because he's thinking of getting baptized and asked his mom to call our church. She got the Bishop's number. He called us and we went out to Fort Erie to visit them. Turns out her son is only 8 years old. Quite the kid huh? So the Bishop and Bindrup blessed him and we got two new investigators. Then later on in the week, they called again because Ben's collarbone snapped again and he started screaming at his mom to call the elders. We have another appointment with them tonight at the church because they want to come to it. Oh, guess how Ben originally broke his collarbone? He was snowboarding and did a jump or something, wiped out, and then started back down the hill again. Later, he was complaining about some pain and they took him to a hospital where they found his collar bone was broken. Tough kid, huh? We'll see how they progress.
So I heard about the Grammies. A member called us up and gave us the results. Pretty awesome that Lady Antebellum won so much. I was not expecting that, but hey, they are good. Who the heck is Arcade Fire though? Frantz (the member) told us they won album of the year. I have no clue who they are. He said they weren't that great though. Opinions?
So what else has been happening? Not much. It started warming up the other day, so now the streets are wet and ugly. Elder Bindrup's shoes leak a lot, so he isn't too thrilled. At least it's warmer though.
Anyways, that's all to report. Not much happened at Zone Conference but Elder Tripp was there, so we hung out. I miss the guy. Anyways, have a great week!

What's That? I Couldn't Hear What You Said And No-one Wants To Hear What I Have To Say!

Hey everyone! How's tricks?
Steelers lost. That sad. Of course, I only rooted for Steelers mainly because I like their logo. Other than that, from what I hear, it was a good game. Heard the commercials weren't all that great though. The only reason people watch the Super Bowl is for the commecials. What is this world coming too when the commercials aren't that great? There's always next year...
So this past week was another slow one. It snowed a lot and now that snow is melting, so it's getting really slushy, which is not enjoyable at all. It's also been pretty cold and windy, which is not a great combination. But hey, that's life.
So not much is happening here. We still don't have any investigators and we are still doing a lot of walking around. I started going deaf in my left ear and it was kind of painful. So after a few days, I went to a clinic to get it checked out. I don't have my OHIP yet, so the check-up cost me $40. Then I had to get a prescription for the infection in my ear, which cost me $70 bucks! Dang! Stuff's expensive!
What else? Nothing really interesting happened this week. It's been kind of a bore. Not too much goes on here in Welland. I heard it was also going to get colder in the next few days. Oh well.
Anyways, there's not much too say, so I'll let you go. Have a great week!
