Hey people, what's up?
So there's a few good and interesting things about this week. The first is on Wednesday when we visited with the Yankes. We taught them about faith and Alma 32. We left them with some commitments to think about, being, when they should get baptized. When we got home, they called and said they wanted to get baptized as soon as possible. So on Sunday, we held a baptismal service for them. It went for a long time, but it was good. A lot of people were there.
Thursday we met with Bob again, and he committed to be baptized on Sept. 25. Yay. Bob and Paula are awesome people. They are so nice and so much fun.
Last night, we went to President Olsen's house (He's part Chinese and his wife is full on Chinese), and they fed us some food without telling us what it was. Elder Roundy asked if it was octopus and...... he was right. It was weird. I DIDN'T throw up. Bravo for me.
What else has happened? Elder Roundy is a pretty awesome guy. I like him a lot, so that's good. We get along really well.
So that's basically it for this week. Have a good one!

A New Investigator
Hey people, what's up?
So the big news of the week is that I am now in charge of two missionaries. That's right. As of Saturday, I became dictator of the three missionaries now in Stratford. The new guy is named Elder Roundy and he's from Morgan, Utah. Third dude I've served with from there. What are the chances? I wasn't too thrilled at first, but he's a pretty cool guy, so we'll see how it goes. Pray for patience for me.
Anyway, we started teaching Heather's step-dad on Thursday, and he likes what we have to share. He really enjoys church, so we've have a new investigator. He's a pretty cool dude, so I'm glad we get to visit him and his wife.
What else is new and exciting? A Tornado warning was in effect here, but luckily we didn't get hit. Goderich, which is about a hour away, did and they got hit hard. Luckily, only one death, but many injuries and homeless now. If we get a chance, we might head up there to help out any way we can. That happened yesterday.
Other than that, there's not much else to tell. Boring huh? Welcome to Stratford. I still haven't seen Justin Beiber. On another topic, Graeme and I have kind of reached a truce on who's a better superhero. We just avoid talking about it on Sunday. Next week though, I'll own him.
Anyways, that's all. Have a great week!

Another Quiet Week
Hey people, what's up?
So this week went by pretty quickly. Monday we played Five Crowns with the Kimballs. It's a fun game, kind of like Phase 10.
Tuesday not too much happen, as I recall. Just a lot of knocking and talking to people. I know, right?
Wednesday we got to meet with Emily and with the Yankes. Both appointments went really well. We also had Young Men's (we've been assigned to go to that for the past how many weeks). It was pretty fun. Graeme and I once again got into an epic debate about the best superheroes. He chose Superman, and I of course, chose four who could beat Superman. Thor (He's a God, no contest), Dr. Strange (Magic), Silver Surfer (power of the Cosmos), and Charles Xavier (Can take over Superman's body and mind). Graeme gave me Xavier (Professor X), but he wouldn't budge on the other three. Poor, naive fool. Hulk can also beat Superman in an arm wrestling competition, but we agreed to disagree (I'm right).
Thursday not too much happened. More doors and more people. Yay.
Friday was the same, but in Tavistock this time.
Saturday we met with Emily again, and then a lot of knocking and walking.
Sunday the Yankes weren't able to make it to church, but Heather's mom (who came last week) came again. She's a less-active member who hasn't been to church in years, and this time she brought her husband who isn't a member. We're going to start teaching them this week. Emily also came and she enjoyed it, like usual.
Anyways, that's my week. Have a good one!

Slow Week........................
Hey everyone, what's up?
So this past week has been really slow. We had the picnic which I told you about, and by Sunday, it felt like it was 2 or 3 weeks ago. Funstuff, huh? Tuesday we went to Woodstock to play mini golf. I won (of course). Actually, I didn't........but I would have if the ball would have cooperated. Oh well.
What else has occurred this past week... I got to go to Woodstock on Thursday and Friday, then London on Saturday. We were doing travels, then we went to Zone Conference in London. It was pretty good, except I forgot my contacts case, so I slept with my contacts in for two nights. My eyes were really red, and were killing me. I was told that it looked like I was a stoner or something. Fun. They're still a little red, but almost back to normal.
Other than that, not too much has actually happened here. It's still been really humid though, and its rained off and on this past week.
Have a great week!
