Hey people, what's up?
So it snowed this week. The snow lasted for about a day and a half, then disappeared. I did get to throw a few snowballs though, so life was pretty good.
So anything interesting happen this week? I got to do a lot of service this weekend. We are helping stock up a house for some Congo refugees that will come later this month. We got to move a fridge and some heavy stuff. We also helped some members move into their new house, and a lot of that stuff was heavy. Fridges, washing machine, etc. Fun, huh? Then on Saturday, I got to put up lights on the roof of this very pregnant lady's house who wanted her Christmas lights up. I got to climb onto the roof using Elder Cameron's back and the wall. Almost fell a few times, but hey, I'm still alive. Putting up lights isn't as much as I thought it would be....and takes awhile. So kids, next time you see your Mom or Dad putting up lights, take a little time out of your schedule to thank them for their hard work, and then move on. It works best while they are doing it. Just some helpful advice.
Besides service, what else? Not too much actually. Knocked on some doors, talked to people, got yelled at. You know, the same old.
In church we got to give talks. I was assigned to speak on knowledge, and it was awesome. No one's could compare. IT was so good, they said I could choose my next talk. I think I'll teach these people a little something about humility. I did forget to throw in my Groucho Marx quote though. That was upsetting. It was "These are my principles. If you don't like them, I have others." Oh well.
Anything else? I can't think of anything exciting. Transfer calls were last night and Elder Cameron and I are staying in Napanee. Every other companionship in the zone is changing though. Weird to think about.
Anyways, that all I have. Have a great week!
Stubbs
