Hey people, how's it going?
So this will be my last email as a missionary. I know, crazy, huh? What can you do?
This past week hasn't been all that exciting, but it's been quite busy with it being our last week and all. We've visited a bunch of people, and helped out a lot. We've mowed lawns, dug in gardens, trimmed some trees, etc. So all in all, it was a good week.
I'll try to think of some highlights.
Well, Sisters are now coming into Napanee. Some people here are thrilled, others are not. I say let's see what happens. But I'm not going to be around, so good luck to them. We also got to call home yesterday because it was Mother's Day. Hopefully you all wished the mothers in your life a happy one.
Monday was P-Day, like usual, so nothing happened there. Tuesday we saw Murv and had PEC. George also took us out to dinner at Shoeless Joes. Wings were half off, so Tripp and I each got 2 pounds of them. Then we played cards, like usual.
Wednesday we had district meeting. It was a little sad because we're going, but we had fun. It was a good way to end the transfer. Then we headed back to Napanee because some people needed us to mow their lawn. We got that accomplished, then went and helped a member resoil his garden.
Thursday, I can't really remember too much. All I remember is visitng people and saying goodbye to them.
Friday we saw Marie. Then we went on travels to Trenton for the day. It went really well. I went with our district leader Elder Pineira. It was a good couple of hours before we headed back. Then we read George the newspaper like usual.
Saturday... I can't really remember much. We went to Barry's and helped him trim a tree. It was fun, but he was a little worried the whole time that I might fall off the roof. Carson never falls. After that, he fed us pizza, and then we went to the church and played Ping-Pong. He won, like usual. It was fun though.
Sunday, Murv came out to church. It was good to see him. They had cake after church for us since we are leaving. It was good. We also went to visit a few more people. We then ended the night by going to a member's home so Tripp could Skype his family, and I called mine. It was a good way to end the transfer.
Thanks to all who have kept up with my blog and have followed me on my mission.
Anyways, that's all for me! See you on the other side!
Elder Stubbs
