Hey people, how's it going?
So three more weeks. Dang, time goes by slowly, but quickly.
So this past week has been uneventful. We saw all of the usual people, and did the usual things. PEC, less-actives, active members, non-members, etc.
What did we do that's noteworthy? Well, on Saturday we had travels with the Trenton Elders. They just got a third missionary, so I went with Elder Gwilliam from Edmonton and Elder Leasuasu from Hawaii. It was a pretty good day, except for the rain and coldness. Then Gus, the Roman Catholic man who lives in Trenton, met us all here in Napanee and took us to Shoeless Joe's for dinner. It was really good. Gus is the coolest guy ever. He's been feeding missionaries at least once a week for two years now, and he also buys them groceries and such. I wish we had our own Gus. I asked if he'd be my uncle, or move to Napanee in the time I have left. I think I made some very convincing arguments. We'll see what happens.
I forgot. On Friday we had interviews with President Scott. My temple recommend got renewed, so I think I'm good. I also tried to convince the Zone Lords to let us go see 'The Avengers' opening night. One didn't go for it, and the other seemed to take my side. I like the latter one.
Sunday, a senior couple that used to serve here visited. Their names are the Wintertons, so there were a lot of people at church, and even more at the free lunch afterwards. Other than that, there's not too much to talk about. I keep on ruining Barry's life by reminding him how his New York Rangers are doing.
What else is there to report... honestly, I can't think of anything. Nothing newsworthy or earth shattering at least, so I let you go there!
